Heineken creates new SKUs for Sol

21 April, 2017

Sol lager is now available in two new SKUs to help retailers cash in on the key summer season.

Heineken has now launched the beer in a slim 33cl can format as well as a 65cl bottle. The 33cl can comes in a four-pack, priced at £4.50 while the single 65cl bottle is £2.00.

Toby Lancaster, category and shopper marketing director at Heineken, said: “Shoppers will be looking for chilled beers ready for that summer get-together or impromptu big night in with friends. The new formats are perfect for sharing on these occasions throughout the summer months.

“The new slim design will also be sure to catch your shoppers’ attention as well as maximising space. We recommend keeping these in the chiller, and to drive sales, you could cross-promote with BBQ food or sharing bags of tortilla crisps that play on Sol’s Mexican heritage.”
