‘Cwtch’, Champion Beer of Britain 2015, will be joined by American Pale Ale ‘Cali’ and tropical IPA, Clwb Tropicana.
The launch follows a £2.6m expansion of the business, which included the installation of a canning line. The investment also allows the company to increase its capacity more than five-fold to five million litres a year.
Brad Cummings, co-founder, said: “We have wanted to start canning our beers for some time. Can technology has come on leaps and bounds in the last ten years, making it a great option for some styles to be enjoyed by discerning consumer just how we intended.
“They also offer fantastic scope for design. We have always had a very striking visual style, and the cans allow us to create eye-catching packaging that will draw the attention of consumers.”
Cwtch is a Welsh red ale, which has become Tiny Rebel’s flagship beer; Cali is an American Pale Ale based on a West Coast style that uses fruity hops from the West Coast of America; and Clwb Tropicana was added by popular demand. The tropical IPA started as a limited edition line but it is now available permanently. The beer is “packed full” of American hops, amplified by peach, passionfruit, pineapple and mango flavours.
