The new expression is available now and has secured initial listings with Tesco and Morrisons stores throughout the UK.
Tamnavulin is matured in American Oak barrels with a sherry cask finish, boasting notes of toffee and apples, as well as a fresh palate of peaches, pineapples and pears. The latest release is said to have a richer taste than some consumers might remember, due to new stills which were installed at the distillery in 2007, during a renovation project. This will be the first opportunity for whisky fans to discover this signature Speyside whisky in over 20 years.
The bottle is encased in a premium carton featuring an image of the brandís historic mill and the Coat of Arms granted to the distillery in 1977.
Stephen Watt, off-Trade sales director, said: "Tamnavulin distillery has been crafting remarkable whisky, full of Speyside character, for the past 50 years and this latest expression is no exception. This is the perfect time to offer customers something new to drink, from an undiscovered distillery in the stunning setting of Speyside. This new release will meet the needs of consumers in terms of flavour, innovation and price point. †With a smooth, mellow taste and eye-catching bottle design, Tamnavulin will bring a refreshing change to store shelves for existing and new whisky fans alike.Ē
†The new Tamnavulin expression will have an RRP of £32.
