Spirit Cartel adds Pyrat to its portfolio

Spirit Cartel has added Pyrat Xo Reserve Rum to its portfolio of premium spirits.

The 40% abv rum, which is already a cult favourite with bartenders, is now available to the off-trade and on-trade from The Cartel.

Pyrat is described as a complex yet mellow blend of fine Caribbean rums and rums aged up to 15 years from the solera system. The drink, priced at £39.99 a bottle, combines notes of vanilla, caramel and toffee with candied fruit, sarsaparilla and ginger.

Matthias Knoll, vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “The Pyrat brand is a highly artisanal spirit, capturing the true character and flavour of the Caribbean. With the help of Spirit Cartel we are thrilled to grow this brand in the UK and introduce it to even more discerning spirits drinkers throughout the country.”
