Appleton’s Reserve Blend rum gets a UK release

06 June, 2016

Jamaica rum brand Appleton Estate is launching its Reserve Blend mark in the UK.

Reserve Blend replaces Appleton Estate 8 Year Old in the portfolio, which was given a global relaunch a year ago to place more emphasis on the importance of blending in the rum range's production.

The redesign saw Appleton Estate’s VX renamed Signature blend and its Extra 12 Year Old rebranded Rare Blend 12 Year Old.

Nick Williamson, marketing director for distributor Campari UK, said: “Appleton Estate is the most comprehensive premium golden rum portfolio in the market.

“The new packaging and use of the word blend in our range names allows us to celebrate blending as a key factor in premium rum’s rich and complex flavours and provides consumers with an easy way to navigate the range.”

Appleton Estate 21 Year Old and 50 Year Old remain unchanged.
