Adnams opens new store

23 May, 2016

Adnams has opened an eleventh retail store in the coastal town of Felixstowe that will sell a range of beers, wines and spirits.

It is the third new store opening in as many years for the Southwold-based brewer, which also sells kitchenware alongside BWS.

Helen Blizzard, who also manages Adnams’ Hadleigh Store, will manage the store and be supported by assistant manager David Mee.

Mee has been working part time in the company’s Woodbridge store for the last couple of years and previously worked as a hotel duty manager at the Crown & Castle in Orford.

Victoria Savory, head of retail marketing, said: “Adnams has a natural affinity for the Suffolk coast, and Felixstowe provides the perfect north Suffolk coastal location for us.

“The town has seen a lot of investment over the past few years, with further investment to the pier and pavilion planned for 2017, it is becoming a key town for visitors to the region.

“The new store is situated on the high street and will play host to a selected range of our best-selling products including our wide range of beers, award-winning Copper House Dry Gin, and much more. We’re really looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors into the store.”

Other stores are located in Southwold, Holkham, Woodbridge, Stamford, Harleston, Saffron Walden, Holt and Hadleigh, Norwich, Aldeburgh and Bury St Edmunds. Customers can also shop via mail order and online at www.adnams.co.uk
