Off-Piste Wines showcases wine cocktail range

11 May, 2016

Off Piste Wines is tapping into the trend for wine cocktails with the launch of a new range.

Makers & Co, which is made in Spain by Master of Wine Clem Yates, is a range of 4% abv lightly sparkling infused wine cocktails.

Like the producer’s Most Wanted range, which launched last year, the latest range aims to provide an easy step into wine for younger consumers. The producer believes the range also has strong appeal for more established wine drinkers seeking a softer option, “without compromising premium quality and taste”.

Makers & Co comes in a range of flavours, two of which: Lime, Mint & Hibiscus and Cranberry, Rose Petal & Hibiscus; will launch into a major UK multiple retailer in time for the summer.

Paul Letheren, joint MD of Off-Piste Wines said: “we are looking at wine-mix drinks from a more premium angle, and also appealing to wine drinkers who want a less alcoholic option. It is going for a similar demographic to customers of Fevertree and botanical brewed soft drinks, Fentimans”.
