Six single cask whiskies released by Wemyss

Independent whisky bottler Wemyss Malts is releasing six new single cask whiskies.

They include a 1988 single grain whisky from Invergordon under the name Rosy Apple Brulée.

There are five single malts: Shellfish Platter 1997 from Bowmore on Islay; The Admiral’s Beacon 1980 from Caol Ila on Islay; Waffles & Ice Cream 1997 cask-strength from Clynelish in the Highlands; Chocolate Orange Segment 18-year-old from Glenrothes on Speyside; and Flambé Fruit 1995 from Mortlach on Speyside.

The casks were selected by whisky writer and consultant Charles MacLean and bottles will have rrps of between £80 and £240.
