The premium gin business, which was created in 2013 by managing director Stephen Marsh, is now stocked in more than 500 UK outlets. Exports of the gin are also on the rise, according to Marsh.
“We’re now crowdfunding to finance the next stage of growth,” he said. “Our distinctive colour, slightly fruity flavour and mischievous marketing has helped us stand out from the pack. In order to step things up a little, we’re now looking to raise £600k to finance expansion at home and overseas, giving supporters the chance to become shareholders.”
Marsh added that its fundsraising partner Growthdeck, which has a hybrid crowdfunding, private equity offer, has taken a detailed look at the business. “They are excited about the prospects of building a global gin brand,” he explained.
