World Beers adds to Italian beer portfolio

22 March, 2016

Speciality beer importer World Beers is extending its range of Birradamare craft beers in the UK.

The three newcomers from the Italian artisan brewery – the 5.2% abv Birra Roma Bionda, the 5.5% abv La Zia Ale and the 6.3% abv Na Birretta Rossa – will join the Na Birretta Chiara and Demmenipa, which launched pre-Christmas 2015.

Birra Roma Bionda is an easy-drinking but full-bodied blond beer, while La Zia Ale is a seasonal springtime beer, created as part of a project with other local craft brewers which aimed to showcase ingredients being grown in the nearby area. The brewery uses fresh rosemary and artichoke to create this unique brew.

And finally Na Biretta Rossa, inspired by classic German Bocks, is a double malt beer with a creamy head.
The beers are packaged in 33cl bottles in cases of 12.

Peter Karsten, managing director at World Beers, said: “The phone hasn’t stop ringing since we launched Birradamare’s Na Birretta Chiara and Dammenipa pre-Christmas so it was important to move quickly and bolster the range. With a huge summer ahead with the Euro’s and Olympics, we’re confident the brand and the 5-strong range has everything to be one of the big success stories of 2016.
