17 March, 2016

Bordeaux wines has announced the appointment of Fiona Juby as its UK Market Consultant.

Juby has more than 30 years’ worth of experience in the wine and spirits industry, having held a variety of roles.

In her new role Juby will now be responsible for driving and promoting Bordeaux wines’ marketing strategy to relevant stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of marketing activities funded by the CIVB (Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux, or Bordeaux Wine Council), as well as keeping the Bordeaux Wine Council informed of all developments in the UK market.

Juby’s most recent role was at Barwell & Jones, where, as marketing director, she had a pivotal role in the restructure and rebranding of the agency and the development of marketing strategies for the agency and its wine partners.

Prior to this she managed Seagram UK’s Champagne and sparkling wine portfolio, developing Cuvee Napa by Mumm into one of the UK’s leading sparkling wines in the 1990s.

Francois Jumeau, marketing director for the CIVB, said: “We are delighted to welcome Fiona to the team. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, both of which will be instrumental in the delivery of our marketing activities in the UK in the coming years.
