Ketel One Vodka unveils limited edition bottle

14 March, 2016

Ketel One Vodka has launched a limited edition bottle to celebrate 325 years of the Nolet Family Distillery.

The bottle is encased in copper matte plating, to symbolise the historical role the copper pot distillation process has had in creating the premium Ketel One Vodka. In addition, 11 coins have been featured on the sides and back of the bottle to represent the number of generations of the Nolet family that have been distilling the vodka.

Bob Nolet, eleventh generation of Nolet Distillers, said: “Ketel One Vodka is a marriage of old world pot still craft and modern distilling techniques, and we wanted to reflect this and commemorate 325 years of our family’s dedication to distilling excellence in this special and limited edition bottle.

“We’re incredibly proud of our dedication to distilling excellence, which has been carefully passed down through 11 generations of the Nolet family over the past 325 years and inspired my father to create Ketel One Vodka.”

Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve GB, added: “Ketel One Vodka is a brand built on the Nolet family’s heritage, authenticity and craft - qualities that are reflected in its success. The new limited edition bottle is a great way to honour 325 years of Nolet Family distilling and we’re delighted consumers can join us in commemorating the occasion.”

The limited edition bottle will be available from mid-March priced at £45. It has listings at Harvey Nichols stores and online.
