Carlsberg relaunches lager-scented male-grooming range in time for Movember

Carlsberg has extended its range of limited edition beer-based male-grooming products in time for the Movember charity push.

The Beer’d Beauty range includes shaving gel, aftershave cream and moustache cream. Each product contains 200ml of freeze-dried powdered beer.

It was initially launched in June this year to tie in with Father’s Day.

All proceeds from sales globally will go to the Movember Foundation.

Founded in 2004, the Movember Foundation encourages men to grow moustaches each November in order to raise money for research into a range of male health issues.

Movember co-founder Justin Coghlan said: “This Movember we're asking men to sacrifice their upper lip for the month and sign up to grow a Mo at Movember.com and help us on our journey for men to live happier, healthier, longer lives.”

Movember has raised £402 million in its 11 years.

Carlsberg is looking in particular to support research into prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity.

Dharmesh Rana, senior brand manager at Carlsberg, said: “Based on the success of our first range of male grooming products, we were keen to bring our new-found expertise to the market once again.

"This time, we're doing it for a good cause. Movember is a charity which aligns closely to the values of the Carlsberg brand, and we're all focused on ensuring this new range is Probably the Best range of male grooming products on the market.”

Rosé tinted glasses
