The Supreme Champion tasting trophy went to Baden Baden Witbier from Brazil.
Spain’s Alhambra 1925 Reserva won the trophy for the Supreme Champion of the design and packaging category of the awards.
Logan Plant, owner and brewer at Beavertown, which has won a cult following for beers such as Gamma Ray and Neck Oil, told OLN: “I feel extremely proud and humbled. As a home brewer not three-and-a-half years ago, to be collecting this award at an event like this is quite remarkable.
“The journey we’ve been on from the basement of a restaurant to where we are today is an amazing feeling.”
Chairman of the judges Jeff Evans said: “This part of the competition recognises consistency and the breadth of a brewer’s portfolio. To win one medal in the IBC is no mean achievement.
“To pick up a number of medals really shows how skilful a brewer is and that all their efforts are not focused on just one headline product.”
