Bohemian Hopsody

02 July, 2015

Don’t stop them now – rock legends Queen have released a pilsner to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody.

The song, which has been voted the greatest song of all time, inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and immortalised in the film Wayne’s World, has given part of its name to Queen Bohemian Lager.

The bottle label will rock you with the Queen crest designed by singer Freddie Mercury when he was a student at Ealing Art College in London.

The golden, hoppy lager is brewed in southern Bohemia in the Czech Republic and meets the requirements for the Protected Geographical Indication certification for Pilsner.

It will break free first in the UK and Europe before a worldwide roll-out later this year.

OLN believes supplier RnR Brew, which also distributes Killer Queen Vodka, is now under pressure to enter the beer into competitions such as the International Beer Challenge so it can declare: we are the champions.
