Prosecco and Chianti Classico join forces in Scotland

01 July, 2015

The Italian promotional organisations for Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene and Chianti Classico have joined forces to launch a new tasting aimed at the trade and press.

Taking place on July 7, the event in Edinburgh has been organised by Hunt & Cody and will feature wines from 27 producers.

Prosecco and Chianti Classico are two of Italy’s strongest imports to the UK and the collaboration will include a walk-around tasting plus a series of seminars.

Sessions will be hosted by wine writer and OLN contributor Tom Bruce-Gardyne who will cover recent trends and developments from both regions.
