Treasury Wine Estates will supply wholesalers with the POS and retailers just need to take a picture of their feature and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The winner will be the retailer that uses the Enjoy Your Evening POS in the most creative fashion, while runners-up will win a case of wine.
Shaun Heyes, business sector controller for impulse at TWE, said: “Figures show that an incredible 89% of consumers in convenience stores buy wine to drink the same day [Kantar], showing why the simple call to action of the Enjoy This Evening campaign works particularly well in the convenience channel.
“This presents a huge opportunity for retailers to grow their sales by ensuring they have the right range on the fixture, at the right price point, as well as a chilled offering of white and rose wine.
“Lindeman’s is a much loved brand by consumers and with this campaign we want to encourage retailers to harness its popularity by creating eye-catching displays using the Enjoy This Evening POS to draw the attention of shoppers to the wine fixture.
“By creating interesting displays and offering chilled Lindeman’s at the right price point, not only can retailers grow sales of wine within the growing £6-8 price bracket, but they could also be jetting away to enjoy some much needed time off in the sunshine.”
A new range of price-marked packs includes Lindeman’s Bin 65 Chardonnay and Bin 50 Shiraz, which will now be available at a £6.99 price point.
