Kestrel pilsner wins Asda listing

27 April, 2015

Brookfield Drinks has won a listing at Asda stores across Scotland for its 4% abv Kestrel pilsner after the retailer reported strong sales of its 5% abv lager.

The lager launched in Asda in October 2014 and since then “sales of the can have surpassed expectations”, leading it to stock cans of the pilsner.

Since buying the Kestrel brand two years ago, Brookfield Drinks has also won listings at Tesco, Nisa and online retailer Drink Supermarket.

Managing director Nigel McNally said: “The Kestrel Premium 5% can has been flying off the shelves in Asda in Scotland, and we are delighted to expand the range to include the Pilsner.

“Our revamp of the much-loved Kestrel brand is going from strength to strength.”
