Brockmans Gin reports strong sales growth after Oddbins listing

Brockmans Gin has reported 78% sales growth in 2014 compared to the previous year, and said it plans to build on this by targeting 20,000 consumers at the Gin Festival.

Brockmans is now listed in Oddbins and 132 independents across the UK, along with various on-trade accounts.

Bob Fowkes, founder and marketing director, said: “We have an exciting array of consumer-facing activities this year. Our programme will embrace both consumers who already love craft gins and introduce thousands more to the brand.

“We are going to be going out across the country at events such as the Gin Festival explaining the brand’s provenance and showing just why ours is the fastest growing premium gin brand in Europe - truly a gin like no other.”

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
