Burgundy region launches dedicated website for UK tastings

06 January, 2015

Burgundy generic BIVB has launched a website promoting en primeur tastings hosted by the region across the UK.

The site – www.bourgogne-week.com – has an online diary that tells the trade where to go for all events and how to get there, along with details of featured producers.

Nelly Blau, marketing and communication export manager at the BIVB, said: “The Bourgogne tastings in January have been running in the UK for years now, and we wanted to show our support and thank the British trade for organising and promoting these very successful events.

“We wanted to come up with something which we hoped would be useful for the UK wine trade. We believe the new website will provide a useful tool to navigate the various tastings and make the most of all the exciting things that are happening during this Bourgogne themed month.”
