New sherry releases from Ehrmanns

04 September, 2014

Ehrmanns is set to release new sherries from Williams & Humbert and Viniberia at the Great Sherry Tasting on September 15.

The tasting, hosted by the Sherry Institute of Spain, takes place at the Westbury Hotel in London’s Mayfair and features more than 30 producers presenting more than 190 sherries.

Williams & Humbert is launching a Single Cask Vintage Oloroso 1982 from its Treasure Selections range, which also includes Fino En Rama Vintage 2006 and As You Like It Amontillado Medium Sweet.

Viniberia, Ehrmann’s Jerez-based sister company, will unveil new bottlings of its Almacenista Selection range, which comes from family-owned almacenista butts and is made with minimal intervention from barrel to bottle, along with a number of other sherries that are new to the UK.
