TV and digital ad for Southern Comfort

Southern Comfort is screening a new TV and digital ad in its Whatever's Comfortable campaign until August 18.

The commercial features a gangly bartender using lemonade gun dispensers to serve multiple Southern Comfort drinks in time to the 1960s rockabilly track Love Me by The Phantom.

Marketing manager Gwen Ridsdale said: "We're confident the ad will ensure Southern Comfort is front of mind, helping licensees capitlaise on sales during the all-important summer trading period."

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
