Sherry Cask Reserve release from Glenrothes

15 July, 2014

Speyside distiller Glenrothes has released its first single malt from all-first-fill sherry casks.

Sherry Cask Reserve has been bottled at 40% abv and is available through brand owner Berry Bros & Rudd, with an rrp of £55 per bottle.

BBR brands heritage director Ronnie Cox said: “The texture is deliciously creamy – a hallmark of Glenrothes – which develops into a kaleidoscopic rainbow of soft spicy and fruity flavours on the palate, balanced in perfect harmony with lingering overtones of sherry and Spanish oak.”
