Copestick Murray grows staff as I Heart brand manager leaves

Copestick Murray has taken on three new workers to carry on its expansion as I Heart brand manager Rachel Archer announced she would be leaving the agency to join Off-Piste Wines.

Matthew Johnson has joined the company from Halewood International as national account manager, looking after key accounts including Direct Wines and Majestic; Shane McNally has joined from O’Briens in Ireland as sales support manager, and Jodie Kale has joined as PR and marketing assistant and graphic designer, from Barlow Doherty.

Managing director Robin Copestick said: “The first 10 months of working alongside Henkell & Co have helped us continue our growth plans. 

“As a result we had a need for a larger sales force and also support team. I am looking forward to working with Matt, Shane and Jodie. Matt’s experience of working at Halewood will be invaluable, Shane will be a great bridge between our sales team, the producers and the customers while Jodie will bring enthusiasm and creativity to our marketing and NPD team. 

“Unfortunately I also have to announce that after nearly eight years at Copestick Murray, Rachel Archer has decided to leave us. Rachel has been a great friend and valuable member of the team. Her work with the I Heart brand has been brilliant but she leaves an excellent opportunity for someone to take over that work. We are currently recruiting for her position and also a new salesperson in the on-trade and independent team.

“This is a truly exciting time to be at Copestick Murray and I am delighted about our current results and really optimistic about the future,” he added.

Archer will be focusing on new business development at Off-Piste.
