Tesco wine team grows

19 June, 2014

Tony Miles has joined Tesco’s wine technical team and will be responsible for France, Spain, Portugal, North & South America and New Zealand.

He has been at Tesco since 2011 and moves to wine from the group food team following stints in chocolate, sweets, crisps, snacks and juices.

Miles will work alongside Bharat Mistry, Danielle Jack and Gerda Pociute under category technical manager Andrew Gale.

Gale said: “I speak on behalf of the entire wine team in welcoming Tony to the team. As the UK wine team extends the business globally, Tony’s knowledge of the markets will prove immensely helpful.”
