Accolade launches direct to consumer website

Accolade has launched an online wine shop to sell premium Australian wines direct to consumers.

Hardy’s 1853 Club will sell ranges like Eileen Hardy by the bottle and offer members exclusive competitions and special offers on new products. 

Marketing manager Anya Saikkonen said: “We know from experience that consumers love trying new wines from Hardys and that there is a lot of trust in Hardys as a quality winemaker.

“With The 1853 Club we can raise greater awareness of the premium portfolio and extend our reach further to wine-knowledgeable consumers nationwide, and not just those who attend our events.”

All orders will be handled by Accolade Park in Bristol and delivery will be free on orders above £50.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
