Wild Turkey hits the streets

Wild Turkey is heading to cities across the country as the bourbon appears in its first outdoor advertising campaign.

The push will see a series of branded phone boxes and six-sheet posters in key locations over a four-week period.

Wild Turkey's 'Know Your Bourbon' creative has been developed to “encompass the brand ethos, encouraging trial and conversion amongst their key target audience of males aged 28 to 40,” according to brand owner Gruppo Campari.

The outdoor advertising campaign follows the recent opening of the Wild Turkey visitor centre in Kentucky. The spirit is distributed in the UK by Catalyst Brands.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
