Masters of Wine gear up for record breaking event

14 April, 2014

A record number of Masters of Wine will gather in Florence next month for the Institute’s eight international symposium.

Wine professionals are invited to attend and learn from some of the most notable figures in the wine world, and more than 400 people from 30 countries have already signed up.

A total of 124 MWs will be on hand as talks, tastings and themed lunches and dinners take in some of Tuscany’s most spectacular venues.

Penny Richards, executive director of the Institute, said: “We know the Speakers are already preparing, working on the topics which were carefully chosen by an organising committee of Masters of Wine.

“We know this will give a broad and fascinating perspective on the world of wine as it is today, and how it will be in the future.”
