Black Tower launches white fizz

21 March, 2014

Reh Kendermann is set to release Black Tower White Bubbly, to build on the success of Black Tower Pink Bubbly.

The wine will be shown for the first time at Prowein, and is to be listed in the UK this spring.

Managing director Nik Schritz said: “The market performance of Black Tower as a brand over the past year has been tremendously successful.

“In terms of the total German off-trade category, Black Tower now has virtually 30% of the market and the range of Reh Kendermann wines in the independent sector have an amazing 50% share. “As the number one wine brand from Germany, we are continually seeing growth, thus providing exciting opportunities for Reh Kendermann in the future.”

The brand is planning to team up with a romantic comedy film due to open in the UK this summer. Bottles of Black Tower Fruity White and Rosé will feature the film on their labels, with social media support on the brand’s Facebook page.
