Co-op launches Fairtrade promotion

21 February, 2014

Fairtrade Fortnight begins on Monday (Feb 24) and the Co-op is offering 20% off many of its own-brand range to celebrate 10 years of Fairtrade wine.

The convenience chain is calling the deal “the Fairtrade wine challenge”, and hopes to encourage new consumers to try its Fairtrade wine.

Wines on offer include The Co-operative Fairtrade Argentine Malbec 2012, down from £8.49 to £6.79; The Co-operative Fairtrade Pinot Grigio 2013 from Argentina, down from £6.99 to £5.59; and The Co-operative Fairtrade Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2013 from Chile, also reduced to £5.59 from £6.99.

Fairtrade Fortnight runs from Feb 24 to March 5.
