On-pack promotion for Brazilian wine

Consumers can win a trip for two to Brazil in a new on-pack promotion launched by the nationís generic body.

Each bottle of wine that leaves Brazil for the UK will carry a neck collar or QR code promoting the competition.

Consumers will be taken to a microsite where they can win the holiday, T-shirts, footballs and wine coolers as part of Wines of Brazilís new Wake Up the Brazilian in You campaign.

The generic body will also send each entrant an e-book telling consumers how to eat and drink like a Brazilian.

Brazilian producers have secured listings at Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Tesco this spring.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
