A minute-long ad will run in more than 3,000 cinemas including Cineworld, Odeon and Vue for a month from today (Jan 24), and is expected to reach some 2 million cinema-goers.
The ad will show model and actress Amy Jackson and Jamie Cho playing in an underground table tennis tournament in a bid to promote Tsingtao’s Dragon Ping Pong activity, which runs table tennis events around the country.
It aims to drive people to the Dragon Ping Pong website, which gives information on events, venues and Tsingtao’s table tennis machine, the Dragon Master.
International sales and marketing controller James Wright said: “The campaign offers Tsingtao the opportunity to reach a captive audience, who are generally more relaxed and focused on the big screen.
“The ad will also align the brand with an upmarket and younger audience during Oscar season, and convey the excitement of the upcoming Dragon Ping Pong events taking place across the UK.”
