Comparison site created for alcohol

12 December, 2013

A price comparison website has been set up for alcoholic drinks.

Bringabottle.co.uk lists some 1,900 branded wines, beers, ciders and spirits from the major supermarkets, Majestic and online retailers Drink Supermarket and The Drink Shop.

Prices are updated daily and links are provided direct to retailer websites to place orders.

Co-founder Hugo Fairey said: “The world of branded drinks is a natural market for a price comparison resource. Bring a Bottle aims to be a champion of consumer choice based on price.

“While some may be cynical about flash price deals, we show on-the-day comparisons of two or more products, which give more confidence to snap up a deal.”

Fairey said the site would feature more products and retailers as it develops.
