Bombardier sponsors Talk Sport's Ashes coverage

Bombardier is sponsoring Talk Sport’s coverage of the England cricket team’s Ashes campaign in Australia.

Further TV ads and POS featuring Rik Mayall’s character William Charles Bedford will build on Bombardier’s links to the cricket team.

Marketing manager Emily Hudson said: “There’s a real affinity between Bombardier and cricket, as they’re both very English and reliable with just a touch of eccentricity.”

Bombardier also sponsors England supporters group, The Barmy Army and charity celebrity fundraisers The Bunbury’s.

Wells and Young’s said these sponsorships have driven a 90% rise in awareness of the brand, according to data firm Cardinal HPI.

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
