Lamb's Spiced relaunched with new liquid and bottle

Halewood International has relaunched rum brand Lamb’s Spieced with a new liquid that comes in a redesigned hexagonal bottle.

The abv has been reduced from 37% to 30% and the supplier hopes the new liquid will prove “smooth and versatile” and “suitable as a base for a range of cocktails”.

Halewood said it had conducted extensive consumer research to influence the new taste and added that it hopes to capitalise on the recent growth in the spiced rum category.

The supplier has already secured nationwide distribution for Lamb’s Spiced, including 530 Tesco stores throughout the UK.

It now features the slogan “Discover True Spiced” and Halewood hopes this will attract 24 to 35-year-old drinkers to the category.
