Accolade revamps wine advice site

07 October, 2013

Accolade has revamped the website it launched two years ago to help retailers sell more wine after reporting that membership to the free site has grown “significantly”.

The overhauled is designed to be more user-friendly and has various new tools.

It offers tips on how to boost sales, advice on stock, category trends and demographic profiles within members’ postcodes.

Members can now also receive free POS from the site.

Amy White, marketing controller at Accolade, said: “The careful mix of information, commercial advice, and tips on how to sell and promote wine is gaining real leverage in both the on and off-trade. With the new-look website, all members will find it even easier to access everything that the site has to offer, which will help them in their quest to sell more wine, more creatively.”

She added: “The run-up to Christmas is a perfect time for new members to log on and find out how they can push wine sales, at a time when customers are more willing to spend that little bit extra.”
