Tesco plans to reach 13,500 consumers at its wine fairs this year after adding a Birmingham leg to the tour.†

Its Master of Wine Laura Jewell will be joined by industry experts including Joe Wadsack, Simon Woods and Helen McGinn, author of bestselling book The Knackered Mother's Wine Club, to educate the public.
The wine fair celebrates its tenth year this autumn and kicks off in Manchester†on September 7.
Consumers will have a chance to taste 250 different wines from 14 countries, with further stops in London, Bristol and Edinburgh.
The inaugural fair at London's Vinopolis received 1,200 visitors in 2003 and this rose to 11,000 last year, with Tesco now expecting a record turnout after adding the Birmingham event.
Nick Juby, commercial manager for for Tesco's wine by the case business, said: ďThe tenth anniversary of the Tesco Wine Fairs is a great landmark and the team is already looking forward to welcoming visitors to help celebrate this achievement.
"Over the years the wine fairs have really grown and taken root in the host cities. For the first time we are taking the fair to the NEC in Birmingham, as well as heading back to Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester and London.
"The wine team is incredibly proud that Tesco remains the only major retailer to host events of this nature across the UK.†
"Our customers really appreciate the opportunity to meet members of the Tesco wine team and ask for advice and feedback. And we love meeting them too."
