Harveys releases regal limited-edition sherry

29 May, 2013

A limited-edition bottle of Harveys Bristol Cream has been released to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Distributor Maxxium will showcase the new 75cl bottle at the Coronation Festival in the gardens of Buckingham Palace on July 11-14 and hand out samples to 60,000 guests.

It will be available from July across the take home sector, including multiple grocers, cash and carry outlets and specialist convenience stores.

Maxxium will push the brand with POS, advertising and online competitions.

Marketing Controller Eileen Livingston said: “As Harveys Bristol Cream is a privileged holder of a Royal Warrant, we are delighted to offer this beautiful coronation edition to consumers as the perfect souvenir to mark the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation.

“Harveys is the UK’s number one sherry and this activity not only celebrates our commitment to recruiting new consumers and re-engaging with existing drinkers but also to building interest outside the Christmas season.”
