Two wines from Torres’ new organic range Habitat will be unveiled – a red Garnacha and Syrah blend that will be available to taste, along with details of a new white Xarello and Garnacha Blanca blend that will be rolled out in the summer.
Torres said Habitat represents “the biodiversity and interdependency of the flora and fauna of the earth”.
Managing director Miguel A Torres added: “We live from the earth and we are a family-owned company, so this combination leads us to care for our land and resources – not just for this generation, but also for future generations.”
New extensions for the Natureo range will also be available to taste. The white, launched three years ago, has been joined by a rosé, made of Cabernet and Syrah, and a red, made of Syrah. Both wines, like the white before them, are less than 0.5% abv and contain around half the calories of standard wines. The
Torres will also show its first wine from the Rueda appellation, called Verdeo, which is made from the Verdejo variety grown exclusively in the Rueda region.
