Greene King launches Twickenham promotion

Rugby fans can win £5,000 by showing off their rugby skills in front of 80,000 fans at Twickenham in a promotion run by Greene King.

Five lucky beer lovers will get the opportunity to kick a penalty during England’s clash with the Barbarians in May.

Those that convert the kick will win the cash prize.

Greene King, the official beer of the England rugby team, expects the competition to bring a flurry of entries, with fans heading to local supermarkets and stores to be in with a chance of grabbing the prize.

Dom South, brewing and brands marketing director, said: “We’ve always recognised the importance of well-crafted moments and they don’t get much bigger than this.

“And as proud sponsors of England rugby, we’re delighted to be able to offer this great prize and provide this amazing moment to rugby fans.”

Consumers are urged to look out for newly-designed four-can promotional packs, as well as neck collars on single bottles.
