Accolade celebrates ready-to-serve listings

02 November, 2012

Accolade Wines’ range of ready-to-serve sparkling wine cocktails is now available at all four major multiple retailers after securing listings at Tesco and Asda.

The range includes Hardys Peach Bellini, Hardys Strawberry Bellini, Stone’s Ginger Punch, Banrock Station Infusions and Echo Falls Spritz.

The rollout of these 250ml cans in Tesco and Asda follows existing listings of the Echo Falls Spritz Pinot Grigio and Echo Falls Spritz White Zinfandel Rosé in Morrisons, and availability of Banrock Station, Hardys and the Echo Falls drinks in Sainsbury’s.
Accolade said the new listings follow a recent burst of consumer advertising to support the range.

A national press campaign saw full-page adverts across consumer magazines including Stylist, Grazia, Hello, Now and Heat, reaching nearly 700,000 consumers.

Outdoor advertising was also placed at 100 Sainsbury’s stores.
Clare Griffiths, European marketing director for Accolade Wines, said: “The success of the Sparkling Collection to date shows this new category is really resonating with our customers and consumers.

“We are delighted with the performance of the range to date and these new listings in Tesco and Asda will help build momentum further.”

Accolade added that the Sparkling Collection is also seeing increasing listings across the convenience and Cash & Carry channels.
