Blavod revenues up 13%‎

07 September, 2012

Blavod Wines & Spirits said its revenues have risen by 13%.

The group – which owns premium drinks brands including Blavod Black Vodka, Blackwoods Gin and RedLeg Rum – added that year-on-year sales volumes had grown by 19%.

Executive chairman Don Goulding said: “The performance of the group is improving significantly and we have taken the necessary steps to cut costs and provide a good platform from which to develop our own brands and those we represent into market leaders.

“This will take time and additional financial resources, but we believe we have the knowledge and experience to achieve this.”

Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
