Stella Artois continues to invest in film

Stella Artois has moved to cement its relationship with the film industry by launching a new bursary scheme designed to bring movie fans closer to the films they love.

The scheme will pay for previews, premieres and Q&A sessions before screenings at Picturehouse cinemas.

“Our bursary scheme endeavours to keep the beauty of cinema alive by creating unique film events that film fans can appreciate and enjoy nationwide” said James Watson, marketing director at Stella Artois Western Europe.

“Our ongoing partnership with Picturehouse Cinemas reflects our long-standing support of great film and film makers and provides the opportunity to make standout film events like this happen which otherwise may not have been possible.”

The bursary follows the launch of the Stella Artois Cannes Cinema Club earlier this year.

The first event will take the form of a Q&A and screening of Bart Layton’s upcoming thriller, The Imposter, which will take place at Hackney Picturehouse Cinema on August 19 before the film’s UK general release.

Rosé tinted glasses
