Etienne Dumont and First Cape’s full-strength and lighter-style wines will be sampled at the event, which is supported by Sainsbury’s.
As part of the deal First Cape will be hosting the event’s only wine and Champagne bar, which is expected to serve more than 20,000 people.
Brand Phoenix spokeswoman Jo Riordan said: “We are thrilled to be a part of the Jubilee Family Festival. The Jubilee celebrations look set to be one of the biggest occasions of the past few years and as a sell-out event of 50,000 people a day that shop in Sainsbury’s, this is an excellent and unmissable opportunity to directly engage with consumers.
“Being the only Champagne and wine on offer at the festival is great exposure. We also hope to raise awareness of the lighter style market.”
The company also hopes to use the festival to promote First Cape’s sponsorship of the British & Irish Lions tour in 2013, with an appearance and training session by Sir Ian McGeechan, the Scottish former rugby union player and coach who is also a brand ambassador for First Cape.
