All change at the top for SAB Miller

23 April, 2012

Graham Mackay is to step down as chief executive of SAB Miller – the group whose brands include Peroni and Pilsner Urquell – in July.

Mackay will become executive chairman for a year with the intention of switching the role to a non-executive one in mid-2013.

He will be replaced by Alan Clark – currently managing director of SAB Miller Europe – who will be chief operating officer from July of this year, and become chief executive a year later.

Alan Clark will be replaced by Sue Clark from July 26, 2012.

Sue Clark is currently the company’s director of corporate affairs and has been with SAB Miller since 2003.

Meyer Kahn, SAB Miller chairman since 1999, is to retire after 46 years with the group and its previous incarnations.
