As WOSA is at the forefront of sustainable wine production, the aim is to make Cape Wine a green event by reducing, reusing and recycling wherever possible. With this in mind, we are asking all competition entrants to make a green pledge as part of their entry. This should contain ideas to make your business greener and more profitable over the next 12 months and beyond.
In addition to committing to a green pledge, entrants must submit up to 500 words detailing why visiting South Africa and attending Cape Wine 2012 would enhance their business.
The judges will be looking for enthusiastic retailers who have a passion for South African wines and can demonstrate what they would gain from winning a trip to Cape Wine. A sense of innovation and future development of the range will be important.
