New-look Makulu on show in London

09 March, 2012

South African varietal range Makulu Wines has revamped its portfolio with a new look, which it plans to unveil at the London wine fair in May.

The International Brands-owned range has new labels with a contemporary design featuring a bull elephant.

Makulu has added a Sauvignon Blanc to its range, which comprises a Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Shiraz and Pinotage rosé. It also launched an entry-level blended range last year.

Makulu is made at the Imbuko winery, which prides itself on its sustainable farming methods and its ethical employment policies. Sales of its wines go towards supporting the winery’s creche and education centre.
