Carling launches 2.8% abv Zest

Molson Coors has launched a limited edition 2.8% abv, citrus-flavoured version of Carling – Carling Zest.

The brew is to be backed with a £1.9 million marketing campaign over the summer, including TV, press, outdoor and digital support.

Senior brand manager Annette Middleton said: “The mission we set our brewing and innovations team was clear – make us a drink perfect for the summer – and in Carling Zest, they’ve achieved just that. With its clear, fresh taste and a twist of citrus, Carling Zest is a perfect beer to enjoy with friends in the sun.”

Carling Zest is already available to the off-trade in four-packs and is to be followed by 12-packs and single bottles from March 18.

The beer will be launched in the on-trade in May, and it will be available until the end of September.

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories.
