Raisin Social signs up Du Toitskloof

08 March, 2012

Raisin Social has signed up South African producer Du Toitskloof and will be its exclusive UK representative for a new range of Fairtrade products.

The wines – called Vale of Peace – are to be unveiled at the London International Wine Fair in May.

Du Toitskloof managing director Marius Louw said: “At Du Toitskloof we believe that development of our own brands, in the UK and in other markets, will enable synergies with our existing Fairtrade and non-Fairtrade projects, and in that way maximise the value returned to our members, and to the grassroots of the winery.

“We believe that Raisin Social, as the UK’s foremost and most experienced specialist in South African wine, is uniquely placed to ensure the success of this project.”
