OLN's Atkin relaunches website

04 November, 2011

OLNís Tim Atkin MW has relaunched his website.

The new site, timatkin.com, includes recipes paired with wines, tips on the best supermarket wine deals and advice to help consumers choose the right Bordeaux or other fine wine for their cellars.

As well as writing his column for OLN, Atkin appears regularly on BBC1ís Saturday Kitchen, writes for Woman & Home and the Economistís Intelligent Life, and is co-chairman of the International Wine Challenge.

Before its relaunch, timatkin.com was named International Wine Website of the Year at the Louise Roederer International Wine Writers Awards 2011.

Atkin said: ďWith the demise of many newspaper wine columns and the growth of social media, the web is increasingly where itís at for wine advice. Iím really excited about this phase of timatkin.com, but this is only a start. I shall be developing the wine reviews section of timatkin.com and adding more features over the next few months, so watch this space.Ē

Jane Curran, food and wine editor of Woman & Home said: ďBecause Tim really knows his stuff, he never patronises his readers, but educates them in the most positive way. Heís also a very good journalist with a wicked sense of humour. Whenever Iím looking for a special wine, I always have a mooch around his site.Ē
